Creating opportunities for mentorship, coaching and cross-generational interaction, is a key component of the TALENT Fellowship. To foster these, fellows participate in annual scientific meetings organised by WANETAM, to provide them an opportunity to interact with core team experts.
They also participate in national level events, where they can promote their work and present their research to wider audiences. These engagements, build on their exposure to existing scientific events organised within each of their institutions.
To promote a culture of collaboration and peer-to-peer mentorship within the programme, PhD fellows will provide supervisory support to MSc. Fellows, bachelor’s students and interns within their institutions
